i saw one more time this movie, a comedy of one of the most prolific directors of Boca do Lixo, Ody Fraga, with a dirty photograph participation of Carlos Reichenbach, yes, it’s a dirty picture, filmed on a “Cortiço”, one big suburban place, a comedy without shame or guilty, a humoristic portrait of São Paulo’s lumpen-proletariat, prostitutes, unemployeds, dealers, two cinema students with all the political discussion of cinema novo, that obviously failed on the reality of the habitat. I really like these kind of movie, the world must know about a cinema that is discriminated in his own country, the pornochanchada, and A Dama da Zona is one typical representant of this big veil of Brazilian cinema.
