Set in 1973 Spain, a struggling encyclopedia salesman and his wife take advantage of an offer to make adult films. The act turns him into an aspring legit filmmaker and her into an international sex symbol.
The year is 1973. The location is Spain. Franco is still in power. Alfredo (Javier Cámara) is a traveling encyclopedia salesman. Very unsuccessful. And when his boss informs him, that sales have dropped to basically 0%, he accepts an offer to make educational films about married life and procreation for Danish World Encyclopedia of Reproduction, he reluctantly accepts, unaware that the films are aimed at the Scandinavian pornography market.
