New version of the film remastered in 2020 for this biopic which retraces the exploits of the Marquise Philippe de la Tour-Gouvernet, known as Philis de La Charce (1645 / 1703) who fought against looters in Provence during the war of 1692 between Louis XIV and the Duke of Savoy.
