I Tvillingernes tegn (1975)

Set in the 1930s the story is about the attempt to record a famous singer who doesn’t want to be recorded but with lots of slapstick, a guy in drag, singing, car/motorcycle chases and sex.  It’s sort of a Benny Hill version of Diva with copious nudity and a few hardcore bits for extra interest.  Despite the explicit sequences, the whole thing seems quite innocent and good-natured though who knows what might be missed by those of us who can’t understand Danish.

This is one of six films making a loose series “In the Sign of” (“I …  Tegn”).  All were made between 1973 and 1978 with five of them directed by Hedman.
