Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You (1970)

Pussycat, Pussycat, I Love You

The IMDB has some interesting (though wrong), entertaining (though right) entries on this film… one, it suggests Woody Allen wrote the screenplay. Nope.

Two, it suggests that this film is “sleazy, creepy and pointless”. Yes, and?

Masquerading as a British sex fling ala Confessions of A Window Washer, this was in fact shot in Italy by the great Tonino Delli Colli (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, The Thief of Baghdad, Spirits of the Dead) and directed by dirty-minded Yank Rod Amateau  in his Son of Hitler, My Mother The Car period.

Music by Lalo Schifrin and starring Ian McShane (as Fred C. Dobbs!) with John Gavin, Veronica Carlson and semi-saucy bit parts from Madeline Smith and Karin Schubert.

Plus a guy in a gorilla suit!

And many other bang-able birds. There, I said it,  you pervy gits. Enjoy!

From a stellar HD broadcast.
